This post will be updated periodically to keep the latest mountain conditions at the tips of your fingers, as more snow is on the way!
Mt. Spokane
A local favorite for its quick access to reasonably priced, family-friendly slopes, Mt. Spokane is the steady workhorse of locals looking to make a quick ski trip and be back in time for dinner. With a shallow bunny-hill perfect for beginners finding their snow legs, as well as some well-groomed wide runs that can entertain the speed-demons and park rats among us, Mt. Spokane is a great place to be for skiers and snowboarders of all skill levels.
The conditions for Mt. Spokane are as follows:

With a large resort (including a decently sized indoor water park!) and an even larger mountain, this ski-town can provide everything you need for the whole family to have a great mini-vacation in the mountains. With a dedicated gondola ride taking you up to the ski area and a unique blend of terrain that’s hard to find anywhere else, Silver Mountain Resort should be a definite spot on everyone’s list this season.

Schweitzer
Well known in the area for its emergence as a rising star of a resort town, Schweitzer is a great alternative to the over-packed big name resorts across the U.S. Though the locals like to think of Schweitzer as a well kept secret, at this point the secret is most assuredly out that this is a great mountain to be at both for a day trip or a weekend vacation. While there is terrain for those of all ability levels, Schweitzer truly excels in its advanced terrain areas, providing wide open cruisers, steep chutes, excellent tree-skiing, and three separate terrain parks.
The conditions for Schweitzer are as follows:
Base Depth – 40″
Summit Depth – 86″
New Snow in Last 24/48 Hours – 0″/0″

49° North
Another great day trip mountain, 49 Degrees North has received recent updates to its lodge and new ski lifts within the last few years, including a high-speed quad lift that massively cuts down on the time you’ll spend sitting on a lift as you plan your routes. While generally thought of as a “ski mountain”, 49 is open to both skiers and snowboarders and has a variety of great runs for all types. Regularly hosting live music in the lodge, and with yurts available to rent for a longer stay, 49 Degrees North is a great family-friendly option in the area.
